Yesterday, we rolled out the most popular plug-in suites to our C4D 2024 and 2025 instances. The suites from Greyscalegorilla and Insydium were deployed to both. The C4D deployed software page was updated with this information, and jobs submitted since yesterday have had access to the plugins.
Additionally, we bumped up the Redshift build that was installed to C4D 2025 over last weekend. While only a minor point release, Maxon fixed 4 crash bugs. Many of our customers experienced completely unpredictable behavior from the build prior. If that was you, and you saw a log message along the lines of:
ASSERT FAILED
File C:\builds\maxondev\dev\redshift\core\redshiftcore\SourceCode\BaseLib\Common/Array.h, line 384
CArray: Index out of range
…then this has now been fixed by Maxon and rolled out to our farm. It wasn’t you, and it wasn’t us, but we’re happy the Redshift devs have squashed that bug. We’ve already seen far more consistent performance from what was deployed over the weekend.
Carry on!
