New Arnold builds released along with improved V-Ray in Max handling

We’ve improved our handling of V-Ray GI cache files in 3D Studio Max. Specifically, we now detect and support pre-rendered light caches and irradiance maps. You can read more details about the improved handling here.

Also recently released to the farm were the most recent builds of Arnold for both Maya and Cinema 4D. Rumor has it that the Rc14 builds of alShaders work properly with the Arnold versions we rolled out, so those should still behave as expected.

Also just released is a new agent build that fixes a bug when people are behind firewalls that are too aggressive. If your firewall killed off open sessions too quickly while idle, the agent could get stuck in a state where it would not transfer data. Restarting the agent would fix it, but now the agent shouldn’t visit that state again. It’s just going to save its frequent flyer miles to go on a tropical vacation instead.

So there.
