Late last week, the first stable V3 agent was published. Thanks to all of you who tested the beta builds. This is the most tested public release agent to date.
Most of the Windows crowd is already running the latest version, due to the automatic updating nature of that build. Mac users will need to download the update manually, but the link to do that is pretty clear on the Home tab of the agent.
The Corral agents bring with them a number of feature enhancements, but the largest is certainly the farm-side caching of job files. We’re already seeing substantial reductions in re-uploaded data, which is saving you time. If you’d like to read more details about how Corral works, you can read up on a previous blog post here.
