The Farm Status column just says “zipping”. Why is it taking so long?
In this phase of job submission, the agent is compressing the folder holding your scene file or project prior to uploading. The time it takes to do this is dependent on how large that folder is and how fast your computer hardware can compress files. The agent reports the uncompressed job size in the lower-left corner of the job submission window after you pick your scene file. Please be aware that the entire contents of the scene file or project folder are compressed and uploaded when you submit a job. To reduce the number of files being uploaded, make sure your scene file and all external files needed are separated out into their own folder structure prior to job submission.
