I just signed up, but when I installed your agent, I get an unable to verify account error message. How can I fix that?

You will get this error message from our agent when it is unable to communicate with our farm, typically because your machine is behind a firewall of some sort. Either disable the firewall (if running as software on your machine), or configure it to allow our agent to bypass it. If you do not control the firewall you are behind, please contact your IT administrator.

There are no required firewall rules for the agent other than to allow it to send TCP packets out to a high-numbered port when connecting to our farm. Please contact support if you or your IT department needs to know the specific port number currently being used.
